Our Story

How it all started...

Carol City United Methodist Church, " the little purple church on the corner", has been around for 70 years and has been helping the community ever since 1951. It started with a group of people that had a vision of God's kingdom. Carol City was strategically placed in its community for that time and such a time as this.

Expanding the vision...

As Carol City moves forward, we will continue with our marching orders given to us by our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ. (Matthew 28:19-20 [19] Go ye therefore, and teach all nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father, and of the Son, and of the Holy Ghost: [20] Teaching them to observe all things whatsoever I have commanded you: and, lo, I am with you always, even unto the end of the world. Amen.) As well as remembering another one of His parables (Matthew 25: 34-36 ‘Come, you who are blessed by my Father; take your inheritance, the kingdom prepared for you since the creation of the world. [35] For I was hungry and you gave me something to eat, I was thirsty and you gave me something to drink, I was a stranger and you invited me in, [36] I needed clothes and you clothed me, I was sick and you looked after me, I was in prison and you came to visit me.’)

Where we are headed...

Carol City UMC stands in agreement with the Florida conference and the household of faith in diversity, evangelising, adapting and on missions together.
